Defo Confusion

Last week it was announced that Defo had split, but however it was not all as it seemed. After speaking to both sides (Danny and Russ), we discovered that Russ thought Danny and Claire had placed an advert asking for a new guitarist. According to him, they claimed that they wrote Defo’s songs, to which Danny told us he did write 90% of the tracks. Then, according to Danny, they actually sacked Russ and Danny and Claire have made a decision to carry on under a new name anyway. Russ insists he wasn’t sacked and that the band decided to call it a day. The MySpace was in a state of confusion as both Russ and Danny claimed the other person had blocked them from the band account, which Danny hilariously referred to as “Doing a Dave”.
