McFly news, as it’s announced

Here it is McFly fans, the big news we’ve been waiting for!
McFly are set to give away their new album, Radio:ACTIVE, for free with the Mail On Sunday on the 20th July!

Says Tom Fletcher to Daily Mail online “We want to get our music out to the widest audience possible and working with a massive paper like The Mail On Sunday will definitely help us achieve that. Setting up our own label allows us to rip up the rulebook and find new ways of reaching an audience”

The Mail are said to be “delighted” to be working with one of the biggest selling pop bands in the UK, and are confident their readers will love the new album.

McFly told BBC News tonight it’s a chance for them to reach 3 million homes, which will hopefully encourage more people to see them on their upcoming tour.

As well as the Mail giving the album away for free, a deluxe edition CD will also be available for die-hard McFly fans in shops from September.

A spoiler of venues for the upcoming tour can be seen on the picture below, from the Daily Mail online, as well as their new album track titles.
