Well, were you surprised? Since she won X Factor last week, it was pretty inevitable that she was going to top the charts with her cover Jeff Buckley’s legendary track, ‘Hallelujah’.

This now makes Alexandra the 4th contest of the reality show to hit the top spot after winning the show.

However, we’re not sure if Leona Lewis was best pleased. She may have been a winner once in 2006, but she got bumped down to 3rd place tonight on the charts.

Wonder how long the hype will surround this new popstar, eh?
