Paris Hilton completed two series of her reality show – My New BFF in America and Paris Hilton’s British Best Friend in the UK – while she was dating the Good Charlotte rocker.

And the socialite admits she had to eliminate all heterosexual men vying to be her new best pal – because Madden didn’t want her getting close to any other guys.

Hilton says, “When I was shooting the show I had a boyfriend. There were a lot of straight people who tried out but he didn’t really believe they wanted to be my best friend, he thought they wanted to be more so we didn’t allow any straight boys. Maybe next season.”

The couple split in November after nine months together.

I haven’t watched the ITV2 show yet, I Sky+’d it, so I’ll be posting my opinion on the show later.
