Former Pop Idol runner-up Gareth Gates, currently starring in ‘Joseph’ in the West End, has become a daddy.

That’s right, Gareth’s wife Suzanne finally given birth to a little girl on Monday which they have decided to call Missy.

In a statement, Gareth said: “We are so excited. Missy is beautiful and we can’t wait to spend time together as a family”.

Why punish her by calling her Missy then?
