Susan Boyle gets admitted to Priory
Is it maybe a tad too early in her career for her to be in the Priory? Apparently not. Britain’s Got Talent star was taken on Sunday night after she had an “emotional breakdown”, according to The Sun. Police had to come to her hotel at about 6pm on Sunday and doctors were assessing her.
Producers of the show had already reportedly contacted the police on Sunday when they realised Boyle was acting strangely. Susan was then taken voluntarily by ambulance to the Priory in Southgate, north London. An unnamed source at the hotel told The Sun, “She’d been at the hotel for a few days, but since Saturday’s final had been acting strangely, causing a bit of a stir. She didn’t look well – she looked lost, not all there.”
The producers went on to say that the star was “exhausted and emotionally drained” after the final and so the TV Company talkbackThames released a statement saying the 48-year-old been told by a doctor to take time off. “Following Saturday night’s show, Susan is exhausted and emotionally drained,” it stated. “She has been seen by her private GP who supports her decision to take a few days out for rest and recovery. We offer her out ongoing support and wish her a speedy recovery.”
Apparently Susan ran down the corridors shouting “I hate this show!” after Diversity were announced the winners.
We hope you get better Ms Boyle!
