Keisha’s out!

For days now there has been speculation about the Sugababes and today we received official word. Only it’s not who we all thought!

Flecking reported at the weekend that rumours were spreading like wild fire that Amelle was set to leave the band, however in a true twist it has been confirmed that the last original Sugababe Keisha is set to go it alone.

The official statement on Sugababes official reads:

“The current line-up of the Sugababes has disbanded.

Heidi Range and Amelle Berrabah will continue as the Sugababes and will be joined by new member Jade Ewen. They release their album ‘Sweet 7’ on November 23rd through Island Records.

Keisha Buchanan will continue to record for Island Records as a solo artist.”

Kiesha, speaking on her own Twitter account said “This is not the end… but the beginning!!!!” “Although it was not my choice to leave, it’s time to enter a new chapter in my life”
