Joan Collins shops at Primark

76 year old Joan Collins has started buying clothes at Primark because of the credit crunch.

‘I’m having to cut back on spending,’ says Joan. ‘I’m afraid I’m no different from anyone else in that respect.

‘I recently had my first sojourn into Primark and I loved it. I found three sweaters for £11 – fantastic!

Joan now refuses to splash out on designer clothes.

‘I can’t afford couture clothes,’ she tells The Sun. ‘I don’t know who can.

‘I wouldn’t dream of spending £3,000 on a jacket.’
