Simon Cowell explains it all…

Simon Cowell might make a statement about Sunday’s controversial X Factor result on live TV, according to his publicist Max Clifford.

Some viewers were shocked the judge let the decision go to deadlock following Lucie Jones’ sing-off with John and Edward Grimes.

Simon previously stated he would leave the country if Jedward won the competition.

‘He’s got to clarify his thoughts and feelings on the show on Saturday,’ Max tells the Daily Record.

‘There are a lot of people out there angry and upset. He knows that. He needs to address it.

‘A lot of people out there need to know why he did what he did and need to be satisfied by his explanation.’

We think he did the right thing.

Ofcom have received thousands of complains because Simon let the public decide who stayed and who left – something we find pretty crazy.

If you wanted Lucie to stay in the competition then you should have voted for her.
