Danyl and Olly don’t think they can win X Factor

X Factor over 25s Danyl Johnson and Olly Murs think they have no chance of winning the competition – and insiders say they’ve “thrown in the towel”.

The pair have lost hope after Simon Cowell picked Miley Cyrus’ song The Climb for the winners song. They think that Simon has picked this song because he thinks Stacey or Joe are likely to win.

Last night a show source told The Sun: “Olly and Danyl have just given up on winning now. They have thrown in the towel.

“They hate the song so both of them just look defeated.

“They realise Simon now wants Joe and Stacey in the final based on the winner’s song as it only really suits them.”

In other X Factor news, Danyl hit out at critics who have made him favourite for the chop tomorrow, saying: “I don’t care if people hate me. I deserve to be in the final.”

Don’t do yourself any favours will you Danyl.
