X Factor… spoilsports!

According to The Sun it looks like The X Factor might be starting earlier next year so they can avoid the Christmas number one battle after what’s recently happened. Don’t you think that’s a little bit silly?

A source told the paper, ‘If a show that gets 19 million viewers can’t muster enough support to beat an online campaign of music snobs, then maybe there is no point aiming for a Christmas number one next year.’

Fair point, but the battle was fun! Should The X Factor avoid the Christmas battle next year?
