Zac Efron apologises over drug comment

Zac Efron feels terrible after being misquoted over advice Leonardo DiCaprio gave him.

‘We were talking one day and it was kind of his way-out-the-door, last minute advice,’ said Zac. ‘Leonardo said, “By the way, if you really want to mess this up, try heroin.”‘

Zac now feels bad about the comments.

‘Oh my God, I can’t believe I just did that to him,’ he says. ‘It was a joke, it was meant completely in sarcasm, but it came across so differently in print.

‘I was devastated. I tried to call Leo and say, “Dude, I’m so sorry, that’s not at all what I meant to say.” It was the worst feeling in the world.’
