Zac Efron surprises Vanessa!

Pretty boy Zac Efron threw a surprise 21st birthday party for girlfriend Vanessa Hugends on Monday, December 14.

The actress (slash singer) thought she was going out for her first legal alcoholic beverage at a Hollywood restaurant with her boyfriend, but instead he had made plans for 100 of their friends to join them at East Restaurant and Lounge.

One of the guests at the party said: “When she walked in she was completely surprised!”

Some of the people present were good friends Ashley Tisdale, Selena Gomez, Brittany Snow and Corbin Bleu. DJ Zen Freeman was there to play a mix of hip-hop music for the night.

As if that wasn’t enough, Zac also gave a tearjerking speech, wishing Vanessa a very happy birthday and encouraged the guests to have a fun night.

From what we heard, it was a great party. Especially when Vanessa joined her friends on the dancefloor after blowing out the candles on her birthday cake, to show her dancemoves to Lady Gaga’s Pokerface. Maybe a bit delayed, but, happy birthday Vanessa! Still jealous of your gorgeous boyfriend!
