Danny Jones talks opera and albums

McFly boy Danny Jones has spoken to Heat about taking part in Popstar To Opera Star, and about the new McFly album.

“The support is brilliant,” he said, “And the boys will be there for me, too. I’ve said I want them in my dressing room with me on Friday.” Danny told Heat that when he first got offered the chance to be on the show he said no. But Tom, Dougie and Harry persuaded him to “take one for the team”.

Danny tweeted today saying that he had just attended the press launch of the show, and that he was having a lesson with the show’s mentors. He posted this photo to his Twitter page (right).

He also spoke about the new McFly album, revealing that it won’t be ready until the second half of 2010.

The band are currently still writing new songs.

“It’s going to be brilliant” Danny said.
