Everybody Hurts to be Simon Cowell’s Haiti single
The artists getting involved with Simon Cowell’s Haiti single will record a cover of REM’s 1993 hit Everybody Hurts.
They plan to record the track next week, with the song being released by Sony later this month.
So who are ‘they’?
Cowell has signed up Rod Stewart, Leona Lewis, JLS and Michael Buble as well as Joe McElderry, N-Dubz, Will Young, Robbie Williams, Coldplay, Take That, George Michael and Sir Paul McCartney who are also reportedly getting involved.
‘I hope everyone in the industry comes together to get involved. The response has been fantastic.’ Cowell said.
We think it’s a fantastic idea. We can’t wait to see who gets involved and how it turns out.
