Simon Cowell to organise Haiti charity single

Simon Cowell is organising a charity single in aid of victims of the Haiti earthquake.

Simon spoke of his plans at last night’s NTA Awards.

‘We had a request from the Prime Minister Gordon Brown and The Sun newspaper – would we put a record together?,’

We haven’t got an awful lot of time, but we are going to do something and attempt to raise as much money as possible.

‘I’ve got to try and get it all together in about 48 hours.’

He revealed that Cheryl Cole has agreed to be involved, there is also speculation that Leona Lewis and Susan Boyle may be involved too.
