Beyonce wins 6 Grammy’s!

The singer has managed to set a new record for the most awards won in a single year by a female solo artist.

Beyonce managed to scoop 6 awards the other night at the Grammy Awards. ‘Single Ladies’ won her the award for Song Of The Year, Best R&B Song, and Best Female R&B Vocal Performance, while her album, I Am… Sasha Fierce won her Best Contemporary R&B Album.

And if that wasn’t enough, Beyonce picked up a gong for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance. However she didn’t win everything she was up for. She did lose out to Taylor Swift for Album Of The Year, and Kings Of Leon for Record Of The Year.

Still, what a fantastic night for Beyonce!
