Ricky Martin sets the record straight

We kind of always knew but Ricky Martin has decided to make it official and use Twitter to do so!

Ricky Martin decided to set the record straight on one or two things (ok, one thing) after he started writing his memoirs!! Memoirs? really?!

The Livin’ La Vida Loca singer  wrote on his Twitter page “I am proud to say that I am a fortunate homosexual man. I am very blessed to be who I am.”

The father of two’s (the children were born to a surrogate mother of course!!) sexuality has always been the topic of much speculation since his hit song ‘Livin’ la Vida Loca’ hit the airwaves in 1999.

“I decided to move on with my life not sharing with the world my entire truth. Allowing myself to be seduced by fear and insecurity became a self-fulfilling prophecy of sabotage….Today I take full responsibility for my decisions and my actions.”
