Demi Moore set to play Miley Cyrus’s mum in forthcoming film

Demi Moore has confirmed that she is set to play Miley Cyrus’s mum in a forthcoming film, sharing the news with her fans over Twitter.

Moore tweeted to a fan: “Starting a film in July with Miley called LOL,” when they questioned her on what she was currently working on.

In an interview yesterday she praised Miley when revealing that she would be playing her mother.

“She’s great, and I think that she is incredibly grounded.” She added, “[Miley] is a true professional, and she truly has a wonderful family. It really shows.”

The film is based on the ‘typical’ 15 year old girl who is struggling through her first heartbreak, but at the same time her mother has just recently became divorced. It is set to highlight the mother and daughter relationship and society’s obsession with texting (LOL!).

The movie is a remake of the 2008 french version of the film.
