Jared Leto defends Justin Bieber after boos

Teenage heart-throb Justin Bieber was booed shortly before he took to the stage of Radio 1’s Big Weekend.

It was 30 Seconds to Mars front-man Jared Leto who rushed to defend the pop prince, saying “He’s a young kid. He’ll be able to charm the crowd.”

Bieber performed three songs, and as soon as he hit the stage he proved Jared right, as the boos were drowned out by the screams of his adoring fans.
