Lea Michele’s body worries

Lea Michele feels insecure about her body.

The ‘Glee’ star admits she is happy with her slim figure but living in Los Angeles leads her to worry about her looks.

She said: “I love myself, the way I look, my body, but sometimes I can’t help but feel insecure here. It plays with your head.”

The 23-year-old actress also confesses she was the only girl from her school not to have had plastic surgery on her face.

She told Women’s Health magazine: “I’m the only girl in my high school not to get a nose job.”

She also credits her toned physique with a strict vegan diet combined with rehearsals for ‘Glee’ – which often see her in energetic and fast-paced routines.

Discussing her diet decisions, Lea confesses reading the book ‘Skinny Bitch’ helped put her on the right track.

She said: “It slapped me in the face. My idea of heaven used to be relaxing at home with a cheese plate and champagne.”
