Lindsay Lohan denies drink and drug abuse

Hmm… if we hadn’t heard so many rumours about her antics whilst under the influence, we would believe her.

Lindsay sat next to her mum Dina in a TV interview to set reporters straight about recent rumours. Her so-called father has told tales about Lindsay being hooked on prescription drugs.

Miss Lohan told Entertainment Tonight, “I’m OK… when did I stop being OK?

“I am fine. I am happy and I am working. And I’m good. I’m surrounded by great friends now. You know, I have weeded out a lot of people in my life.”

She then continued, “I don’t (have substance abuse problems). I work. And if I go out with my friends, I’m 23, and I’m allowed to do that. I don’t go out when I’m working.”

Lindsay then went on to say how false claims about her have stopped the actress from getting work: “It distracts from me getting jobs. That’s when it hurts the most – especially when it’s not true.”

So you don’t fall out of clubs then? Oh Lindsay, if it worked for Kate Moss, it could work for you too.
