Lloyd Daniels injured in a car crash!

X-Factor’s Lloyd Daniels’ mother has confirmed that her son was injured in a car crash last Friday.

The 17-year-old, who only passed his driving test just five weeks ago, was knocked unconscious and suffered whiplash, bruises and burns from his airbag.

The car cash happened right after Lloyd had dropped off X-Factor friend Lucie Jones at a London Tube station. He was immediately taken to St George’s Hospital where he received treatment. Luckily doctors discharged him later that same day.

His mum Lisa says: “We just thank God that it was not much worse. He is a really careful driver. He has only just passed his test so he wants to look after his licence and not get any points on it. He’s still recovering. He’s got quite bad whiplash, his chest is all bruised and he was in shock. He was really upset.”

Daniels now shares a flat with Lucie Jones in Putney, but he is currently staying at his family home in Wales while he recovers.
