Muse promise Glastonbury surprise
Muse have promised a unique surprise at this year’s Glastonbury Festival.
The ‘Time is Running Out’ rockers are currently planning their set for the prestigious event and want to make sure their performance goes down in history, and they could even be joined on stage by surprise guests.
Drummer Dom Howard said: “We’re playing Saturday night and we’ll be doing something a little bit special for that show and doing something we’ve never done before. Possibly incorporating some other musicians, which is going to be really fun.”
The band – who have sold over 10 million records worldwide – are also continuing their world tour this year which has been influenced by the George Orwell novel ‘1984’.
Lead singer Matt Bellamy said the production will feature an “an all seeing eye” pyramid structure and a “chrome UFO.”
The trio released their fifth album ‘The Resistance’ in 2009, and will be touring their new songs and classic hits across the globe throughout the year.
