Sarah Jessica Parker’s replacement worries
Sarah Jessica Parker wouldn’t like someone else to play Carrie Bradshaw in ‘Sex and the City’.
The 45-year-old actress – who has played Carrie Bradshaw in six television series and two movie instalments of the franchise – confesses she would be gracious if another star were to play glamorous writer Carrie, but she would find it hard.
She said: “It’s so funny, it’s just been asked me. It makes perfect sense.
“I would like to be generous of spirit and say, ‘Of course’ and I would do that if it was asked of me. It’s just I… I don’t know. I can’t imagine anyone else playing Dorothy Gale. Just Judy Garland!”
Discussing ‘Sex and the City 2’, Sarah admits she is far removed from Carrie and prefers a domestic life with her husband Matthew Broderick, son James Wilkie, seven and twins Marion and Tabitha, 11 months.
She said: “I’m a very traditional person. I cook, I clean, I do laundry, I do my children’s diapers, I wipe vomit off the floor and all other sorts of things that can come out of small bodies and small children.”
‘Sex and the City 2’ is released in the UK on May 28.
