Katy Perry has managed to offend UK fans north of Bristol – by forgetting to thank them for her number one.

Katy thanked her UK fans for making latest single California Gurls number one in the charts.

However, she may have missed a few places out.

The singer tweeted: “Thank you UK for making me #1 today! From Brighton to Bristol & everywhere else inbetween, I ♥ U! #whenfootballfailsyou,Iwillnot! CHEERS!”

After a few angry tweets from fans above and beyond Bristol, Katy quickly tweeted: “YES!!! THE MIDLANDS, THE NORTH, THE WHOLE BIT!”
