Kristen Stewart takes on the role of teenage prostitute

We’re used to seeing her in the Twilight flicks, but now Kristen Stewart is taking on a much deeper role.

Kristen plays Mallory in Welcome To The Rileys – a teenage prostitute.

The actress told People: ‘the subject matter was a lot sadder and emotionally distraught than I’ve ever had to deal with.’

‘It’s sort of the lowest of the low that I’ve ever had to go.’

When asked what she thought her Twilight fans would think of the role, Kristen said: ‘Luckily Bella wasn’t my first part.’

‘I’ve had the chance to really get comfortable with keeping true to why I do what I do, and I can only do it this way. I’m proud of myself – so if other people aren’t, that’s totally cool.’
