Cheryl Cole seems to be well on her way to making a full recovery from her bout of malaria.

The singer may still be pale and thin following her run in with the potentially-fatal illness but she mustered up the energy to endure a 11-hour flight to Los Angeles.

Wearing a denim-effect jumpsuit she was accompanied by her dancer pal Derek Hough.

The Dancing With The Stars winner was pictured with Cheryl as they landed at LAX airport.

He had been staying with Cheryl while in London following up work offers.

Recent rumours suggets the two have become more than just friends since working on Cheryl’s Parachute video.
