Christina Aguilera’s record company in trouble over Bionic flop?
Christina Aguilera’s record company in reportedly in trouble after the singers album didn’t do as well as expected.
According to New York Post’s Page Six, RCA are in ‘rescue mode’ after poor album sales of Bionic.
The album has reportedly sold less than 200,000 copies. It did reach number 3 in the Billboard charts but quickly dropped out of the top 10.
‘Christina wants to compete with her peers, but there is a disconnect because, over the years, she’s been a mother and a wife, not a rocker,’ explained a source.
‘The label has done its part, but she’s headstrong. There have been candid conversations between her and the label about connectivity, but it doesn’t seem that she’s been open to that dialogue.’
