Jedward’s Edward Grimes needs an operation

Edward “Jedward” Grimes is going into hospital to have an operation on his injured knee.

Edward, 18, hurt his leg while performing at the T4 on the Beach.

Speaking about his torn ligament, Edward told the Daily Record: ‘I have to have it done as soon as possible. It’s crazy because we’ve got a massive UK tour coming up and so much promotion and everything with our CD. But right now I’ve got to have surgery on it.’

‘But I’ll be OK because John will be there and he’ll probably eat all the food in the hospital.’
