Rio Ferdinand admits to being secret McFly fan

Manchester United football star Rio Ferdinand has ruined his hard man image by admitting he is a secret McFly fan.

According to The Sun, the England football captain posted a snap of himself singing along to the boyband’s hit Star Girl on his Twitter page.

Rio, 31, went online to share the photo with pal Chris Moyles, 36, to prove he was joining in with his “McFly Day” feature on his Radio 1 breakfast show.

The football softie wrote: “McFly me up!” and later tweeted a message to Danny Jones, saying: “You lot are making some waves with ya comeback! Good to see. Had the song in me head all morning so its obviously catchy! I have young sisters who luv u guys so when your in manchester I’m gonna bring em and if u guys perform at your very best I might be seen throwing some moves!!”
