Robert Pattinson nearly gave up on acting

Robert Pattinson nearly gave up on acting – because he was broke.

Before Rob bagged the role in Twilight, he revealed that he couldn’t afford to continue.

“I was flat broke,” he said. “If you say you’re an actor and you’re going to auditions and not getting parts, you’re not an actor.”

With three Twilight films under his belt, and two more confirmed, it’s lucky he bagged the role as Edward Cullen when he did.
