Adam Lambert discusses Queen rumours

Adam Lambert has discussed the rumours that he was offered the job as the lead singer in Queen.

Adam, who performed with the band’s Brian May and Roger Taylor on American Idol, put the rumour down to the media.

“I think that was a media rumour,” he told Undercover News.

“Basically they said ‘we’d love to work with you again some day and have a talk about maybe a collaboration’. The words ‘would you be our new lead singer’ never came out”.

Adam described the performance as “surreal”, adding: “I could not believe I was up there with Brian May and Roger Taylor. It was bizarre. It was like a dream”.
