Cheryl Cole is furious about Sharon Osbourne’s return

Cheryl Cole is said to be furious with Louis Walsh, after he invited Sharon Osbourne to return to The X Factor.

Former show judge Osbourne left the ITV show in 2008, after she spent the previous series rowing with new panel member Dannii Minogue. In a subsequent interview with Piers Morgan, Sharon said:

‘I left because of Dannii Minogue. Simple as that.

‘I didn’t enjoy working with her at all and the prospect of spending six months sitting next to her, I thought “my life is better than that”.’

Dannii later admitted that Sharon made her life hell on the show, telling the Daily Mail:

‘The hardest thing, having been such a fan of the show and the judges, was thinking, “Oh my God, I’m going to meet Sharon Osbourne” – then I walked into the room and she hated me. There was nothing I could do to change that, and it continued for the whole series.

‘For ages I was asking myself, “What have I done wrong?” But the answer was just being there on the show and being female.’

Cheryl Cole is now furious that Louis would invite Sharon back and thinks that he has done so, just to upset Dannii.

A source said: ‘Cheryl is furious with Louis and thinks he has brought back Sharon for one reason – to annoy Dannii.

‘Cheryl thinks what Sharon said was out of order and is very much siding with Dannii.

‘Louis could have asked hundreds of stars to help him. But he’s picked Sharon. Cheryl thinks it is simply to cause mischief.’
