McFly discuss what would happen if one of them quit

McFly have discussed what would happen if one member left the band.

When Robbie Williams left Take That they went on without him, but when Charlie Simpson left Busted it meant the end of the band – what would happen if one of McFly decided to quit?

When asked by the News Of The World if they would take back a band member who quit (like Take That have done with Robbie) Dougie Poynter said: “We’ve grown up together so I’d be gutted if someone left.”

“It would change everything because we all bring something different to the band, so I’d take them back. It wouldn’t be the same without one of us.”

However, Tom Fletcher wouldn’t welcome back a former member.

“I’m less forgiving – I wouldn’t take them back. Once you’re gone, you’re gone.” he said.

“It would never happen unless someone died.” Danny Jones added.

“That’s the only thing that could split up McFly!”
