Miley Cyrus & Liam Hemsworth have split up

Miley Cyrus and her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth have reportedly split up.

While Miley’s rep was unavailable for comment, Liam’s rep confirmed the split to USMagazine.com.

The pair met on the set of The Last Song last year.

Back in March, the 17-year-old told Ellen DeGeneres that when she was first introduced to Liam, 20, she didn’t think anything of it.

“I was actually going through a tough time,” she said.

“I was like, guys just need to be out of my life for a little while. [I thought] ‘I just need to alone.'”

Miley quickly changed her mind about her co-star though.

“I met him, and he opened the door for me, and I was like, I have been in L.A. for three years and I don’t think any guy has actually opened the door for me,”

What a shame! They made such a cute couple.
