Katie Price splashes out on a new car

Even though she’s got a garage jam-packed full of cars, Katie Price decided she wanted to splash out on yet another four wheeled drive earlier today.

A few hours ago Katie bought a new range rover in London.

Perhaps Jordan just needed a little retail therapy after reading today’s reports that her mother-in-law has begged her son Alex Reid to leave her.

“Alex’s mum just can’t bear to watch him self-destruct in his marriage to Jordan,” a source told Now magazine.

“She looks at him and sees a shadow of his former self. She just wishes he would leave her.”

The magazine also alleges that the cagefighter’s mum has been having some strong words with her son about the matter, and what’s more he’s been listening to what she’s got to say. Apparently he feels like he’ll be worthless without Katie, but his mum’s been telling him:

“The public love him and he doesn’t need Jordan to succeed.”
