Selena Gomez’ pre-gig ritual

Selena Gomez has spoken about what she does before she goes on stage.

The singer revealed that she prays before going on stage with her band, as well as admitting to various other pre-show rituals.

Selena told Top of The Pops magazine: “We put our hands together and say a little prayer”

“Before I go on stage, I drink olive oil. It’s disgusting, but it’s good for your throat. Then I grab my band and we do vocal warm ups and dance.” she added.

She also revealed the inspirations behind her hits songs during the interview, saying, “I definitely draw on things that have happened to me or it’ll be something I’ve heard a story about, or that someone close to me is going through.”

“Most of the time, it’s something personal” she added.
