Taylor Momsen admits she’s probably “a worse role model” than Miley Cyrus

Taylor Momsen has admitted that she is probably “a worse role model” than Miley Cyrus is.

Speaking to Sugar, The Pretty Reckless singer and Gossip Girl actress had a pop at Miley and Heidi Montag.

“I listen to Oasis and The Beatles, so I don’t know what Miley Cyrus is singing about.” the 17-year-old said.

“But apparently we’re the same age so people thing we’re the same or something? Oh and apparently I’m a worse role model than her. Well, I probably am!”

And it isn’t just Miley who isn’t up to Taylor’s high musical standards.

“When I was 9 I wrote a song called ‘Blackout’. And I think that Heidi Montag just sang a song that a 9-year-old wrote. So that’s what I think about that.” she said.

So why is this? It’s because Taylor is “angsty as shit.”

“I’m a rock chick living in a pop world.”

“Rock says, ‘Fuck’ you’ and pop says, ‘I like to dress’. I wouldn’t wanna put out a pop record. It’s pointless and it’s not my style.”

“I’m as angsty as shit. I’m a teenage girl in a rock band – what do you expect?”

This is true – we’ve noticed she doesn’t like to dress most of the time.
