Diva Fever’s Joe Al-Smadi: “Katie Waissel’s really self obsessed”

Joe Al-Smadi, one half of Diva Fever, has hit out at X Factor contestant Katie Waissel.

“Katie’s really self obsessed. She knows she’s not going to win so for her the more exposure the better.” Joe told Now magazine.

Rumours are flying that a paper paid Katie £5,000 for her claims that she and Matt Cardle were discovered in bed together at the X Factor house – something Matt wasn’t pleased about.

“I was in the make-up room when he was kicking of about her and he was like: ‘That f***ing bitch. I can’t believe she’s using me to get in the papers!'” he said.

“Matt was furious with her and won’t speak to her at all, but that’s revved Katie up even more. She thinks he’s just playing hard to get and told me in no uncertain terms: ‘I always get what I want’.”

“She really likes him, but sadly the feeling isn’t mutual.”
