MGMT: Jedward are great guys

John and Edward “Jedward” Grimes have clearly found fans in MGMT.

The band met the the X Factor twins at an awards ceremony in Ireland earlier this year.

In an interview with Zane Lowe, singer Andrew VanWyngarden joked that they now wanted to produce Jedward’s next album.

“It was so random. I’d just heard of Jedward the day before, so I was on the Jedward buzz,” he said.

“We’re producing their ambient techno [album]…”

“They’re crazy. They’re great guys from what I can tell. They’re prettier than us.” Andrew said of the twins.
