Our X Factor performance of the week: Matt Cardle – Baby One More Time

We’ve only reached the third week of the X Factor live shows and already stars are being born.

Our favourite performance this week was Matt Cardles’ “Guilty Pleasure” – a rendition of  Britney Spears hit Baby One More Time.

The performance was very low-key, just Cardle and his acoustic guitar. The complete opposite of fellow contestant Wagner Carillho and his wacky performance which was a Spice Girls/Ricky Martin mash-up – special in it’s own way of course.

Back in 1998 Britney scored her first UK hit with the track and if judge Louis Walsh’s comments are anything to go by, Matt has the potential to do the same with his version.
