Selena Gomez talks being home-schooled

Selena Gomez didn’t like the idea of being home-schooled at first.

The 18-year-old Disney star felt like she missed out on a lot by not going to a real school.

“I actually cried. We were moving and I had no choice. I was like, ‘I’m not going to get a locker and I’m not going to go to prom’,” Selena told OK! magazine.

“That [annoyance] lasted a month and then I was fine, especially after talking to my friends about what they were dealing with at school.”

Selena recently spoke out about her friend Demi Lovato being in rehab.

“Demi is my best friend and I don’t care what has happened recently in the past. I feel like a horrible friend for not being there for her or acting like I haven’t been there.”

“I recently visited with her and I’m glad she is seeking help and I hope that it gets better for her. I knew this time was going to come, but I didn’t think it would happen this way.”

“I love Demi with all my heart and wish her the best of luck and I definitely am standing by her side no matter what happens.”
