The Strokes singer Julian Casablancas has revealed that the new album will be out in a “few months.”

Julian took to Twitter to share the news, saying that the record needed to be mixed before it could be released, but that the main recording had taken place.

“[The album is] still not going to be out for a few months – mixing, etc,” he tweeted.

“But just finally finished it, yesterday actually.”

The band started work on the album in New York last February with producer Joe Chiccarelli.
