Miley Cyrus’ dad tweets about bong video

Miley Cyrus’ dad has tweeted about the video of her smoking from a bong.

Billy Ray Cyrus, 49, expressed his disappointment via Twitter a day after the video hit the net.

“Sorry guys. I had no idea. Just saw this stuff for the first time myself. Im so sad. There is much beyond my control right now,” he tweeted.

Miley has always been a bit of a daddy’s girl, however with her parents have recently splitting that’s what some are putting her bad behaviour down to.

TMZ reports that the video was shot during a party (in the USA) at Miley’s L.A. area home, 5 days after her 18th birthday.

However, sources close to Miley say she was not smoking marijuana. The bong was reportedly filled with salvia, a psychoactive herb, possession of which is legal in California.

A source told TMZ that the video was shot by one of Miley’s friends, and the theory is someone stole or copied the video from that friend’s camera.
