Justin Bieber doesn’t care what fans think of his new hair cut.

Making a surprise appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show Wednesday, the 16-year-old teen sensation spoke about his new ‘do.

“I was inspired by yours!” Bieber joked to Ellen DeGeneres.

Bieber said that his fans were freaking out about it on Twitter, but said: “I was like, ‘I don’t really care.'”

Justin then went on to give Ellen a surprise birthday gift – some of his hair in a box!

“Yes, it’s really my hair,” he assured her, explaining that he’s giving “pieces” of his hair to different people, in the hope that they will auction it off for a good cause.

“I wanted to do something good,” he said.
