Kristen Stewart won’t be playing Lois Lane in new Superman

The rumours that Kristen Stewart could be playing Lois Lane in the new Superman flick has been quashed.

The Twilight actress was apparently one a number of stars wanted to play to take on the roll of Lois in the forthcoming Zack Snyder movie Superman: Man of Steel.

Apparently Kristen is wanted after Anne Hathaway, who was thought to be first choice, turned the role down to play Catwoman in new Batman flick The Dark Knight Rises.

Well a rep for Kristen has has told People that there was never any truth in this.

“There are a number of fabricated stories circulating,” the rep said.

“The fact is that she has not met on this film nor has she been approached for this film.”
