Lauren Conrad “too high brow” for MTV

Lauren Conrad says MTV found her new show “too high brow” for their channel.

Former The Hills star Lauren was due back on our screens with a show about her fashion line, however MTV backed out.

“We sold a show to MTV, filmed it and are really proud of the final result,” she said.

So why didn’t they want it?

“MTV felt the subject matter was too high brow and offered me the opportunity to change the show by incorporating more of my personal life. MTV didn’t feel their viewers were savvy enough to appreciate it.”
