Usher accused of stealing a song

OMG! Usher has been sucked into a lawsuit over who wrote the song ‘Monstar’.

Self confessed struggling singer/songwriter, Kameron Glasper, claims that he wrote the song when he was young and naïve and that the publishing company “took advantage of his age and inexperience”

There are seven people listed as co-songwriters on Usher’s Monstar track; none of them are Glasper.

He is seeking compensation and legal costs, and is also aiming to have the contract dissolved so he can take back ownership of the remaining songs.
