Adam Lambert: Aftermath is an empowerment anthem
Adam Lambert has described his new single as an “empowerment anthem”.
Aftermath is Adam’s latest track and the generous singer has decided that profits from the sales will go to charity The Trevor Project.
“It’s a song that’s on my album. It’s a song that I wrote and it’s an empowerment anthem,” Adam told KIIS FM.
“It inspires people to take risks for who they are, and take that leap of faith. I’m excited because it’s something that I wrote, and what’s important about it is the message.”
“It was a song that always got a great response on tour, and I’ve been wanting to do something with The Trevor Project, and I think it really speaks to their slogan ‘It Gets Better’.” he added.
Speaking about the changes made to the track by producer Billboard, Adam said: “The vocals are still there, but there’s a really sick beat now. I think it’s really rad,”
You will be able to download the remixed version of Aftermath on Adam’s official website shortly after he performs the track on Thursday’s American Idol.
